Repent, Meshoe tells Zuma

Speaking during debate in the National Assembly on last week's state-of-the-nation address, Meshoe again castigated the president for his controversial claim, made earlier this month at an Eastern Cape rally, that only an ANC membership card earned people entry to heaven.
Zuma also suggested at the time that a vote for an opposition party was one for the devil.
Meshoe, quoting a verse from the bible, said the only way to heaven was through Jesus Christ.
"Mr President, Christ is the way [to heaven] and nothing else. Many in the Christian community did not appreciate your irreverent statements, and have asked you to withdraw them and apologise.
