I woke up this morning at about 5:30 to the sweet song of a ghetto bird. It isn't odd to hear L.A.'s finest chopper in my residence but it was today considering how early it was. According to the random Guy who hopped out of the unmarked news van someone was shot early this morning on the 6800 block of Laurel Canyon Blvd. The street was blocked off from Van Owen to Hart Street. My daughter and I had to take a detour this morning as I walked her to her bus stop. Traffic will be a nightmare for some commuters. I pray for the guy who lost his life and his family.
